Sterilization Protocol
Your Safety Is Our Priority
Our practice always takes extra precautions to safeguard the health of Eastgate Dental Excellence’s patients and team members by practicing extremely rigid sterilization standards.
Why It’s Important Not to Neglect Your Oral Health
We understand that visiting any public place in light of the pandemic is a concern for many — especially individuals who have additional health concerns that put them at higher risk for developing a severe case of COVID-19. This is a decision that must be weighed individually. However, maintaining your dental health is still an important part of taking care of your general health. Continuing to visit the dentist for professional dental cleanings will help to reduce generalized inflammation throughout your body and keep your immune system strong against both viral and bacterial infections.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
Our team is screened every day when they enter the practice for signs of COVID-19, and we contact each of our patients before their scheduled appointments for an over-the-phone COVID-19 screening.
If any patient has been exposed to COVID-19 or is experiencing symptoms before their appointment time, they are rescheduled.
Our team and patients wear masks while in the building. Patients remove their masks only once they are in their private treatment room.
Each of our team members has been provided with the proper personal protective equipment, and each of our treatment rooms has been outfitted with an air purifier to clear the air of potentially airborne virus particles.
Reduced Exposure Risk
Patients are given the opportunity to wait in their car until their provider is ready. Our waiting room has socially distanced seating if patients choose to wait in the office. Our patients are personally escorted into their private treatment room.
Frequent Cleaning and High-Traffic Sterilization
In addition to having our entire office professionally cleaned twice a week, we sterilize all high-traffic areas and high-touch surfaces several times throughout the day.
We Welcome You to Contact Us With Your Health and Safety Concerns
