Common Dental FAQs Answered by Our Oral Health Experts

FAQs

+ Do You See Emergencies?
Although we do not always have a dentist on call to see walk-in emergency and urgent care patients, we will do our best to accommodate your needs should you have an urgent dental situation.

If you are experiencing severe pain or swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, an abscess, or have a loose tooth, a knocked-out tooth, or have suffered an injury to your face or mouth, you might be having a dental emergency.

We encourage you to contact our office before coming in. That way, we can help you determine whether your situation requires immediate care and provide you with instructions for managing your dental emergency until we can treat you. When you call us before coming in, we can also prepare for your arrival so we can administer treatment right away.

+ Are You Accepting New Patients?
Yes, we always welcome new patients at Eastgate Dental Excellence. We invite you to contact our office to learn about establishing care at our dental practice and scheduling your first appointment.

We also welcome patients of Dr. Kirnzer, who merged his practice with Eastgate Dental Excellence in 2017. If you are a former patient of Dr. Kirnzer’s, we will be more than happy to pick up where you left off in his practice and continue serving your dental needs.

+ Will You Allow Me to Make Payments?
We want dental care to be accessible to as many patients as possible. So, we offer a variety of payment options. We accept cash, credit cards, financing, and special financing through CareCreditⓇ.

Additionally, we have our own in-office savings club for those without insurance. Please inquire with our team about Eastgate Dental Excellence Savings Plan.

+ Do You Do Tooth-Colored Fillings?
Yes, we have a variety of tooth filling and restoration treatments available, including composite resin fillings and porcelain restoration treatments designed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
+ Do You Extract Teeth?
We do our best to preserve each patient’s natural teeth. However, tooth extraction is sometimes necessary. Our dentists extract teeth only when no other viable treatment option is available to save a patient’s natural tooth.
+ Do You Take My Insurance?
We work with most traditional insurance companies. To inquire about your specific insurance plan and coverage, we welcome you to contact our office or your insurance provider for more information.
