At Eastgate Dental Excellence, we were so lucky to be led by two fantastic dentists who have now retired – Dr. Stephen Kuennemeier and Dr. Jerrold Kirzner. Our staff today works hard to carry on the legacy they began.
Dr. Kuennemeier is the original owner and founder of Eastgate Dental Excellence. He is a 1981 graduate of Ohio State University School of Dentistry. He dedicated his professional career to providing patients with the best dentistry has to offer. Dr. Kuennemeier continually educated himself and his staff on the newest techniques and approaches of state-of-the-art, comfortable and personalized dental care. He completed numerous continuing education courses in endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, practice management and implants. He was also a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Cincinnati Dental Society.
Dr. Kuennemeier retired in Febuary 2021 after 39 years with the practice. In his retirement, he is enjoying traveling with his wife, Robyn, spending time with children and grandchildren, riding his bike and visits to his house in Florida.
Dr. Kirzner is a native of Cincinnati. He attended the University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University where he received his D.D.S. degree from the College of Dentistry in 1971. Following a period of service in the US Army Dental Corp, he returned to Cincinnati where he practiced in the Anderson Township area since 1977. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Cincinnati Dental Society, The Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and was a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This achievement awarded in 1985, followed completion of over 600 hours of continuing education as well as passing an all-day exam.
Dr. Kirzner retired in July 2020. In his retirement, he stays very active with softball, golfing, and snow skiing. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Judy, to visit his sons and grandchildren.
